DESCRIPTION
1. Gently remove the non-contact rubber shield of the bearing by prying upwards from the center using a push-pin, or by pressing it out from the back using a paper clip or pen knife. Do not clean the rubber shields with any solvent, as this will cause the rubber to blister and ruin the fit on the bearing. Gently wipe them clean using a clean cloth or use soapy water. If you choose to use soapy water, make sure to dry the shields completely before putting them back onto the bearing. 2. We have tried many cleaners and solvents and have several recommendations. Citrus-based cleaners work but can leave a slight oily residue on the bearing. Solvents are more dangerous to use, but often provide a more superior solution to cleaning dirty bearings. If you choose to use solvents, we recommend wearing latex gloves and working in an area that is well ventilated. Solvents we recommend are Acetone, Methyl Ethyl Ketone, Citrus cleaner, and Denatured alcohol. All of these can be found in the paint section of your local hardware store. Products we DO NOT recommend are petroleum-based products like; paint thinner, gasoline, kerosene, lacquer thinner, turpentine or anything that contains tolulene. These solvents aren’t adequate cleaners and should not be used in the bearing cleaning unit. Whatever you use, make sure to dry your bearings and add the lubrication to them as soon as possible to keep them from rusting. 3. Take your bearings and place them on the axle (metal rod on the lid) alternating from one bearing to one spacer till all 8 bearings are on the axle. For best results make sure that the ball side of the bearing is facing upwards. Fasten them down finger tight onto the axle using the wing nut. 4. Fill the bearing-cleaning unit up about 1/3rd of the way full with your cleaning solution and seal the cap. Agitate the cleaning solution by shaking the bottle. Shake for about 30 seconds, open the lid and give the bearings a spin to free up any debris and recap the bottle. Shake until you are satisfied that your bearings are cleaned completely. To make sure they are clean, spin the bearings on the axle. 5. Remove the bearings from the axle and dry with a clean lint free towel. We also recommend blowing the bearings out with a can of compressed air, which you should be able to find at any electronics or office supply store. Be careful when doing this, as you don’t want the solvent to get in your eyes or all over the place. Make sure to blow them out over a towel. 6. Once the bearings are clean and dry, the next step is to lubricate them. We have found through the years of testing that our Bones Speed Cream™ is the best light oil lubricant for your skate bearings. Put two drops of the lubricant per bearing and spin the bearing between your fingers to distribute the lubricant throughout the entire bearing. If you have ceramics, only one drop of lubricant is needed. The next step is to put the rubber shields into position. They should just slip right into place with very little force. Occasionally you will see a wrinkle along the inner race edge. To get rid of this, simply run your thumb over it lightly in a circular fashion. Now you’re ready to install the bearings back into the wheel. 7. If you choose to use solvents, please make sure to dispose of it properly. Most solvents will have disposal instructions on the container. Please be sure to be environmentally friendly and dispose of your cleaning agents in a responsible manner. Carton Quantity: 100

Once we receive the item you want to exchange, we will send out the new item for free. If you believe the item is faulty then please contact us before sending it. "Can I exchange my item for a different size if it doesn't fit?" - Yes, we are happy to exchange for a different size, make sure you let us know what size you need. Send back the original item with a completed returns form following the steps below. Once we receive your returned item we will send out the new size for free. If the size you need isn't available we will refund you.

"Do you offer free returns?" - No, we do not offer free returns. However, we have partnered with EVRi to offer cost-effective returns, all you have to do is follow the link below.

To complete your return:

    1. Securely repackage your item with the appropriate amount of padding, we recommend reusing the packaging it arrived in.

    1. Complete our returns form, please indicate if you'd like a refund or exchange. If you don't have access to a printer then you can write a note including your name, order number, and whether you'd like a refund or exchange.

Sending Your Return with EVRi

We have partnered with EVRi to offer you a cost-effective and tracked way to return items. You can choose to drop your parcel at a Parcel Shop, Parcel Locker, or have it picked up.   2. Select Skatewarehouse Ltd from the list of retailers, select Parcel Shop Return and complete the online form.
  3. Take your parcel to your local Evri ParcelShop
  4. Scan the attached QR code on the print in store device and follow the on-screen instructions
  5. Attach your printed returns label and hand the parcel to the store operative.

Evri Home Collection (Printer Required)

  1. Visit evri.com/return-a-parcel.
  2. Select Skatewarehouse Ltd from the list of retailers, select courier collection and complete the online form.
  3. Your label will be emailed to you for printing.
  4. Print your label and attach it to your Skatewarehouse Ltd parcel ready for your courier to collect at your convenience.

Once we receive your item we will process your return within 3 working days and then refund or exchange the item as requested.



Important, please note...

Any items we receive back to us are subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • Item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received them to qualify for a full refund. Take care when opening the packaging so you do not damage it or the item(s).
  • Custom-built products are not eligible for a refund unless we deem there to be a manufacturer defect, this includes products where you have selected the option to "Build my Board" or "Apply Grip Tape".
  • The item(s) must be in the original manufacturer's packaging. You can open the packaging but please take extra care not to damage it in case you need to return it.
  • Please make sure all items are packed appropriately for safe shipping back to us, this is your responsibility.
  • Please do not stick postage/courier labels directly onto the box/packaging of the product as we will not be able to refund or exchange your order.
  • Our returns policy lasts 100 days from purchase. If 100 days have passed since your original purchase date then, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
  • All costs relating to returning items are the responsibility of the customer.
  • If you have contacted us and we deem the item to have a manufacturer's fault or has been damaged during initial delivery, we may refund your return costs if you provide proof of purchase.
  • We strongly recommend using a 'tracked service' with either: EVRi, Royal Mail, Parcel Force or a Courier Service.
  • Make sure you have returned the items to the correct address.
  • Please be aware that until the returned item is with us, it is still your responsibility.


International returns from outside the UK:

Skatewarehouse LTD will only issue a refund for orders that are returned to us from outside mainland UK. If you would like to exchange the item then we will charge the full shipping cost as per our rates table.
